Film synopsis: Mario (Ugo Tognazzi), a middle-aged businessman, is about to fly to New York on a business trip when his plane is delayed by fog. He returns home and finds Francesca ( Fenech ) his attractive young wife, asleep. Mario determines to use his enforced leisure time to go hunting. However, as he is collecting his guns he notices a pair of naked male feet in the closet. Mario immediately suspects that Francesca is having an affair with a younger man. His suspicions lead to increasingly erratic behavior and a tendency to have morbid fantasies about his wife's supposed extra-marital activities.
